There are seven members of the Parent Advisory Board (PAB) who advocate on behalf of Traut parents and who work with the Teacher Advisory Board (TAB) to fulfill the mission and goals of the Site Based Management Council (SBMC).
Miranda Rogers is mother to a 5th grader, a 3rd grader, and 1st grader at Traut. Miranda met her husband, Robert, at the University of Texas School of Law in 2005, and they have been married for almost 13 years. She practiced for eight years in Denver as an intellectual property litigator with an international law firm.
For the past five years, she has had the privilege of being a class coordinator and a mentor to incoming Traut families. She loves volunteering in her children's classrooms in order to actively participate in their education and to advance the mission behind the formation of Traut Core Knowledge School.
Courtney Elder and her husband, Chris, have 3 children: a 4th grader, a 2nd grader, and a 5-year-old who will join his siblings at Traut next year.
Originally from Connecticut, she worked at an investment bank in New York for a few years after graduating from Villanova University with degrees in Economics, Communications, and Business.

She moved to Colorado where she attended CSU to obtain a master's degree in Occupational Therapy. She worked as a therapist in a rehabilitation hospital for 8 years before stepping away to focus on more of the daily activities of her family.
Courtney believes the strong parent-teacher-student partnerships at Traut foster a mutual commitment that drives the success of our students and the school and she is serving on the PAB to help maintain and strengthen these partnerships.
Roxanna Costello is a parent of a second grader at Traut. She is a credit manager for a bank and has worked in the finance industry for over 10 years. Roxanna Costello is a parent of a second grader at Traut. She is a credit manager for a bank and has worked in the finance industry for over 10 years. Working remotely provides her with the flexibility to be actively involved in her daughter’s school and extracurricular activities. Since 2017, Roxanna has contributed to various non-profits and values opportunities to engage with her community. Her family moved to Colorado in the summer of 2023—a longtime dream come true. Her husband, Ryan, is a teacher at Kinard Core Knowledge Middle School, and they are proud members of the PSD community. Roxanna is looking forward to getting to know the Traut community and contributing to the decisions that help students and the school thrive. She is excited to be part of the PAB!

She has served as a classroom coordinator and is an active member of the Fundraising Committee—roles that have allowed her to meaningfully contribute to the school's ongoing success. Kristen believes strongly in the parent-teacher partnership and is excited about the opportunity to focus her volunteer efforts through her position on the Parent Advisory Board.
Katie Lowry is a mother to a Traut graduate and a first grader. She has been the art coordinator with Julie Cimino for the past two years and also assists Thomas Chen in showcasing our amazing student artists! She has been a classroom coordinator multiple times and serves as a school mentor for new families.

Outside of Traut she can be found walking her dog, enjoying local shops and restaurants with her husband, John, and being the taxi driver for her kids. She loves being outside which is why she never left this beautiful town that she grew up in.
The collaboration between parents and teachers at Traut is so beneficial. One of her goals as a board member is to create more opportunities for this community to gather together. She fully supports Traut’s vision and will continue to make that direction clear in her efforts.

Dr. Danny Mistry, MD, MS, ATC is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, a Certified Athletic Trainer and has a Master of Science degree in Exercise Science. He provides comprehensive, evidence-based, primary care sports medicine for recreational and elite athletes with an emphasis on holistic, preventative health to enhance well-being and

He has lived in Fort Collins since 2017 – where he founded and practiced at the Aasha Brain Clinic™ between 2018-2025. He currently teaches Sports Medicine at the Family Medicine Residency Program at UCHealth, is a National Team Physician for USA Swimming, serves on the Sports Medicine Advisory Board for USA Swimming and is the Chair of the Concussion Task Force for USA Swimming.
Previously, while living in Grand Junction, CO between 2011 and 2017, he was the Past Chair of the Concussion Task Force for School District 51, was a Team Physician for the Grand Junction affiliate team of the Colorado Rockies and served as a Member of the Board of Trustees for the Community Hospital, Grand Junction, CO between 2014 and 2017. He had served as a Board Member of the Colorado MINDSOURCE Brain Injury Network between 2014-2020. Prior to moving to Colorado in 2011, he was the Team Physician and Co-Medical Director, Department of Athletics, University of Virginia, Charlottesville, VA during which he had helped develop numerous Sports Medicine Programs for care of all Division 1 athletes.
Danny has served on the PAB over the past 3 years and is committed to the enhancement of parent-teacher-school partnerships which makes TCKS so unique and special! Besides work, he is an avid chef and is currently working on completing and publishing the “Whole Soul Cookbook’, being written to support orphanages worldwide. He loves spending time with his wife Kelly and his son Jal (currently a 5th grader at Traut), exploring the great outdoors and traveling worldwide.
